1. What is your city and state?

Los Angeles, California

2. When did you start using the Charity Miles app, why, and what do you think about it?

I first started using Charity Miles in Spring of 2017. I decided to check out the app and download it in the first place because it came into my orbit by way of a recommendation from a a friend whose opinion I hold in high esteem. My first impression of the mobile phone application was that It gave a greater and quantifiable value to my running. Hard to be mad at that.

3. Why did you choose to join the Green House Healthy Charity Miles Team?

Choosing to join Green House Healthy Team came very naturally since we share similar values as well as the caliber of their athletes.

4. What’s your favorite way to put in miles?

Sprints on the treadmill. Hands down. Since I’m a fighter I find it’s more conducive to sprint as long as I can As many times as I can rather than jog long distance. To simulate how it’s going to feel fighting in the ring and cage. I love me my sprints.

5. What are some of your favorite charities to contribute to and why?

Since day one I have exclusively worked with one charity and that is the Alzheimer’s Association. I chose and stick to this association because my mother has Alzheimer’s so the obvious territory comes with that and it’s a hell of a motivator every time I step on that treadmill.

6. Do you support or consume cannabis for fitness, and if so, what can you share with us about your experience?

I absolutely consume cannabis before, after, and if it’s an option; during my exercises. So I have to explain first that I work out several times a day several different ways. I’ll spend the mornings running, the afternoon and evenings training jujitsu, Boxing, Or Muay Thai and late at night is when I work on strength training. For exercises like running in strength training my routine which consists of consuming sativa flower or concentrate to activate the caffeinated properties that will help me push through whatever obstacle. For combat training I like to medicate with a low dose of OG flower to ease my jitters. Not necessarily from fear but more like excitement and anticipation which can sometimes interfere with learning and application. After all denominations of workouts I always relax, replenish, and recover with a cornucopia of different delivery methods of cannabis depending on what’s bothering me more than usual. That could be anything from vaporizing concentrates, THC bath bombs, smoking a bowl, or applying THC infused topicals.

7. What advice would you give someone interested in the Charity Miles app and joining the Green House Healthy Team?

My only advice is simple and sincere, Pull the trigger and get that ball rolling. Check it off the old bucket list and start right now.

8. Is there anything else you’d like to add?

Overall my experience has been great with the Charity miles app in joining the Greenhouse Healthy Team. Everyone conducts themselves in my opinion very well and respectfully. Not too much and not too little. Definitely a  culture full of inspirational individuals with terrific stories.
